Carendar does not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or address. No account registration is required. We operate on a strict no-data-collection policy to protect your privacy.

Biometric Authentication
Face ID and Touch ID are used to protect access to sensitive documents and secure areas of the app. Biometric data is processed entirely on-device by Apple's Secure Enclave and is never transmitted or stored by Carendar.
Vehicle Data and Maintenance Logs
Your vehicle information, including make, model, year, and maintenance history, is stored securely in your private CloudKit database. This data provides maintenance reminders and service tracking functionality. All maintenance logs are encrypted and accessible only to you.
Document Storage and Security
Sensitive documents (driver's license, ID cards, professional documents) are stored locally on your device with hardware-level encryption, protected by Face ID or Touch ID. These documents are never uploaded to any cloud service. Photos and receipts in maintenance logs are processed with secure thumbnail generation and stored in your private iCloud account.
Subscription and Payment Information
Subscription transactions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store using StoreKit 2. We do not store or have access to your payment information. Apple handles all payment processing, and we only receive subscription status information necessary to unlock premium features.
Apple manages all subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. Your subscription is governed by Apple's Terms and Conditions, which provide additional consumer protections and rights.
Local Data Analytics and Insights
Carendar provides personal analytics and insights about your vehicle maintenance patterns, costs, and trends. All analytics are computed locally on your device using only your personal data stored in your iCloud account. No analytics data is collected, transmitted, or shared with us or any third parties.

Your data is primarily stored in your local device and your personal iCloud account. Apple's iCloud operates globally with appropriate safeguards for international data transfers. All data transfers are encrypted and comply with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.
